Medication Safety Training

Divided into 4 units, this one-day intensive training session will look at the current legislation and guidance for handling medicines. Discussions around the roles, responsibilities and boundaries of the care worker and other healthcare professionals involved with medicines will take place, whilst recognising the different care contexts. Safeguarding Adults Level 3 Policy Procedures and Good Practice Guidance 2015

The course covers the wider context and processes relevant to Adult Safeguarding and there is an emphasis on roles and responsibilities of care managers and those with line management positions within the procedures. MORE

Safer People Handling

To provide staff with the knowledge with regard to current practice and the legal requirements for safe moving and handling. During the session delegates will be required to particiapate in safer people handling techniques. Previous called Client Handling MORE
